After creating the band's logo the single cover was next. Animating it was always the end goal, so I approached the creation of it with that in mind. After pitching the concept from a sketch I started roughly painting the elements in Procreate. Creating the final composition in After Effects. Once I had the scene in After Effects for the cover, I was able to animate it and use vfx techniques to get the final look. Rendering out a looping animation of the cover to play with the single. With a retro logo animation intro timed to the beginning of the song.
